View Full Version : I wanted to get some suggestions on Suspension Setup

I own a 95 civic DX and wanted to know what type of suspension to put on the car. I was thinking Skunk 2 racing springs with the Tokico 5 way adjustable gas shocks. I was wanting to know your opinion is on this setup or your setup for a EJ2.

well I was wanting the car to sit low but want the car to sit really stiff. I know its not a comfortable ride but keeps the body of the car from hitting the ground.

yes it is a daily driver and right now the car has incorrect springs on it and the shock are not great. That is how it was when I bought it. So just wanting to know what would be good for my car and maybe something that is not to pricey!

Do you want ride height adjustability? Then go with coilovers. Once you have coilovers you'll never want anything else.
If you just want to lower it, then go with the Skunks/Tokicos.

PIC coilovers are the best coilovers ive ever owned i highly recommend them and there priced real well picperformance.com and ive met the owner of the company personally and hes very inteligent

Just installed a set of Blox full body coil overs on a ek hatch and they work great!! it sits pretty low too

i think they where $500 from RMS dist.

my friend has Skunks/Tokicos on a eg...........will be stiff but great handling when halling ass
