condition is like brand new,
probably only over 1000 exposures or less,
have original box and everything.

Some basic specs: Full body ; Resolution: 10.1 megapixels ; Optical zoom: 18x

It's an awesome little camera that really does take awesome pictures.
Comes with a Digital Concepts carrying case as well.

Looking to sell for $225 obo

Or trade for: 15 inch steelies w/ good tires, fpr with gauge plus cash, or traction bars.

it's pretty close to this setup. i also found that metz does make digital modules for the dslrs now, always wanted to buy one (they're about 60-75 dollars).

here is what i have:

Flash Unit
Control Unit
3 Hot Shoes, 1 nikon (film camera unit), 2 universal
2 Batteries (Ni-CD)
Charger

only thing i don't have is the bracket but they are like 20 bucks on ebay.

I want close to what i paid for it about 2 years ago, 300 OBO, i'll use the line from the guy i bought it from, "I used to shoot this thing at f8 at 100yds at football games!" LOL, it's funny because it's true...

unfortunately i am no longer local so i'd have to ship it to you, for this reason i accept paypal, if you want to mail me a check or money order and wait for it to clear we can do that but i work for a bank so i'm not gonna get scammed lol...

All good man. The 70-200 F4L IS is fuckin sick man. I LOVE mine. I need to get out and use it more. Canon is doing their instant rebates right now till Jan 2010 so its a good time to buy. Pretty sure Newegg has it the cheapest right now @ $1199.99 with an instant $75 off making it $1124.99. Luckily I got mine right before Newegg raised their price. It used to be $1099 regular price before the rebates came out.

Who knows, I may have it. Its on craigs and I already got one call today on it but he didn't seem serious.

You could always put off your 70-200 a lil bit since the rebates are going till Jan ;)

This camera is in great shape, and has never let me down, it takes good video, and excellent pics as you can see. The zoom is the best part, as well as you can change various settings (exposures, etc) This is a great camera to have before stepping up to a DSLR.

I paid 500 new for it, I am asking $200 obo. Comes with 2GB memory stick, orginal box, battery charger, batteries, and a carring case.

Thanks, it really has been a fantastic camera. I hate all sony products except their cameras, I went out on a limb and bought this one because for the money it was the best point and shoot out there, and DSLRs then were more money. I bought a sony DSLR because i loved this camera so much. I almost hate to get rid of it, but I do not use it anymore. The original batteries are still working great, and get about 300-400 pics per charge depending on flash/exposure/etc.

I ordered it from Newegg this morning but I fucked up and forgot to update my debit card # so the order got held up. I REALLY wanted it for this weekend but now it ain't gonna happen. I'm a little pissed off but its my fault for not updating my info. Kinda pissed that Newegg didn't send me the email notification till 7:45pm when obviously it would be too late to still get overnight shipping so I have it by Friday. If I would have known earlier in the day, like right away or if their online shit would have just showed the card didn't go thru cause the cc# was invalid, that would have helped me get it straightened out ASAP......but whatevers.

Ah well, shit happens. I am going to Tempe Camera in the morning to try and haggle with them because their pricing is like $200 more than all the online vendors......plus sales tax is a bitch. We'll see. If they want a sale, they'll price match, if not.........I'll bounce and order it online.

I might change the order though and get the Canon 16-35 f/2.8 II L instead to use on my 5d2. The ultra wide angle might be more usable for automotive stuff and I kinda miss having a ultra wide angle since I sold the last 2 I owned.

Drawback is the 16-35 is $1520 online, about $220 more than the 24-70 2.8L was gonna run me. Buuuuut when you're spending that much cash, who the fuck cares about another $200 right? lol.

Who knows, maybe it was a sign because I kept going back and fourth all night between those 2 lenses till like 4am trying to decide which one to buy.

BTW, what does my lens purchase have to do with yours? lol......buy what you want dude!

I am looking for a nice bag, preferably backpack / something easy to cary. Needs to be able to hold my macbook (15inch), 7D, 200mm lens, 2 mid sizes, and a short lens. Preferably room for a grip, and a flash or two. A tripod mount would be nice too! but not required

Well thank you for the link. Ill check it out. I was looking for tripods like the one i have ($5) because the camera remotes have the thread to screw it in.

But i have 2 tripods i just need a flasher since mine hasnt come in yet. :/

I wish you would tell me all these things before with the bag and all. I gave away my canon bag a week or two ago ahha. It was to big for my digital camera at the time and i wasnt using the camera i am now because i didnt know how to use it haha.
Im trying to get it back though since it was a trakpack or something. I cant remember. Sorry.

haha yeah. I really want a 10mm and a 50mm badly. Going to try and save up for them. Though i doubt ill get the 10mm anytime soon haha.

Has around 3500 shots on it i believe. Maybe a little more like 4000. Not %100 sure. No scratches or anything. Im not going to go lower just because i dont want to sell it :(

A car and i need $300 more. I have $1700 at the moment and the car im getting is $2k so im trying to sell either my car or my camera or anything i got other then my laptop/speaker for $300 before thrusday (when someone else comes to buy the car)

Since my recent glass buying spree, I have upgraded as this bag will not hold my gear. Will hold Body, and a couple lenses and accessories no problemo. I think I am going to have to go to a rolling case.

Tamron 28-200 AF Aspherical LD 3.8-5.6 zoom lens. Not the greatest lens, not the worst. I have taken quite a few really good shots. Lens is in perfect shape, and I will throw in a Tiffen 72mm UV protector and a Tiffen Polarizer. Nice lens for focal range, and fairly small. Minolta/Sony (A-Mount) Fitment. 45 bucks, these typically sell for 100-120 but since it is a "limited market" I will take less since I do not need this as I have a closet full of zooms.

Will also trade one or more of the above for Nikon Speedlite(s) (SB24 or newer) or Canon speedlite flashe(s) needs to be nothing too fancy as I prefer natural light and rarely use flashes, but I have a gig coming up where I need them. Can put cash on top if needed.

Canon 5D Mark II body only. 10,013 acuations. Have box and everything that came with it. There are some light scuffs/scratches on the LCD screen (see 5th image down) which are noticeable when the camera is off and I have no idea how they really got there unless it is from just putting it in and out of my Tamrac camera bag. The 7d has been in the same bag for over a year and has not one mark on it. I figure this is because the 7d LCD screen is superior and has a better coating on it. This does not affect the camera in anyway except asthetics and I have discounted my price a little bit for this reason. I am in no hurry to sell my 5d and would not mind keeping it one bit if I don't get my asking price. I will ignore any lowball offers.

i went to a high school that had a video academy... a serious academy most of the graduates went on to editing in motion pictures.

Yes. The video capability with DSLR's is pretty amazing if you ask me, especially due to the selection of lenses and being able to use a FF sensor. Plus all the equipment that is available to stabilize the camera is almost never ending.

Shit, one of the season finale's of House was shot solely with the 5D Mark II and aired on national television. That's saying a lot IMO. Obviously these cameras have a ton of potential.

If you havent toyed around try a 50mm 1.8. The 85mm is a popular lens on a 5D, 5D MKII, 1D etc. Its a popular zoom level for full frame cameras. The equivalent on a crop is about 50mm. People buy 85 because someone with a bigger camera had a 85 all the time. Just wanted to help you out and try to save you some cash! Though 85 is still nice for portraits, i just hate having to backup.

If you already use the 50mm and want more reach then yeah man hit up the 85. Also check out the 100mm macro! Its pretty sharp too :) Personally I love my 70-200 for portraits. Gives a little more flexibility in movement. And the quality is pretty up there with my primes (ofc not as good but still pretty sharp). However on my XT I dont think i could see a difference. My 17-40 vs 50mm looked almost the same sharpness. But on my 7D there is a sharpness difference.

Basically, I love my 70-200 for almost everything :D

Reason for selling: I only use this lens now at events where there is a risk it might rain or similar situation as it is weather sealed. I usually shoot at 35+mm So having 5mm range is too short. Selling this to purchase a 24-70L.

haha, i dont have your skills. Plus I dont like creepy looking white people in SUV's looking at me when im taking pictures of sentras. Looking for something that shoots better quality pics then my current nikon p90 P&S, and I want to try out some hd video stuff.

I love using zooms personally. Also look into a Nikon 35MM F1.8. GREAT lens, amazzzinnngggg quality. Thats what i was using for the underside of the sentra. :) Lets move this kinda chat to the general photography section though!

I considered this lens, but damn its not weather stripped, and its not a 2.8. I really wanted something a bit wider on the aperture side of the house for my general lens. Ive heard absolutely NOTHING but awesome comments on the 15-85. If i was just a casual individual it would be one of the only lens's i owned lol.

yeah i'm leaning towards it for that very reason.

i was very unhappy with my 18-55 after using the 17-40L and the 10-22 for so long as i did.

i sold the 18-55 to my cousin and now i just have my 20d body lol.

i'm debating selling it or buying a 15-85 now but i can't justify that amount of money if i'm not going to be as serious about my photography as i have been in the past, that was one reason i sold the 17-40 and the 10-22.

Also check out a second hand tamron 17-50 F2.8. It is similar optical quality to a 17-40, and used runs 250-320 shipped. Best budget lens IMO

well i found a BNIB 17-50 tamron for 370 shipped with a warranty from mack camera so i'll see how that goes. it's gotta be better than my lensless 20d body hahaha.

Everyone I have talked to that has one absolutely loves it. The only thing i see against it is when people compare to a build quality of a 17-40 or something similar, and it had slightly more flare due to some cheaper internals. Tell me what you think!! :) I almost pulled the trigger last month, then sold a bunch of shit and bought a 24-70. lol
