Alright not sure if this is the right section. I need to swap out my tranny. I got a new one. Just an a3 tranny. Who can swap these for me? Possibly clutch also. I have clutch not sure if im dropping in yet. You can keep tranny. It works. But doesnt have 3rd gear. It grinds and doesnt wanna go in. I can buy you lunch too or something. Anyone interested in tucson area. Let me know.

Damn I am in Havasu but would do it for you. Its not that tuff, with some tools, sweat and time you could do it yourself.

Yeah. Thing is i would take my sweet time and take like 3 days. I want it done in a day. Havasu? How far is that from tuc?

I hardly think 300 is to much to take out the old trans and put another one in but to each their own right.

Just so you know I do not work for a shop nor am I ASE certified but I have been working on cars for 10+ years and many people can vouch for me and I guarantee my work.

ive been hella busy and probably will be for awhile. summer at acura is fucking packed with shit. i have no strength after work to do this to be honest.
its not that bad if you wanna do it yourself... just pull the subframe, pull the drivers mount lower the pass mount a bit and take the shit in the way out along with the starter and just slide that ho out

yeah i really dont wanna do it at all. I might have to. Its just to hot in the garage for me to stay in and work. Ill buy a MEGA fan or something. haha.

its not bad, just time consuming. i just did a similar swap and threw in a stage 4 cltuch, flywheel and lsd. just make sure you open the pin before you squeeze the tranny together, you'll see what i mean when you get into it.

i got a new 5spd and threw in a clutchmasters stage 4 and flywheel, and a wavetrac lsd.

the price is super cheap and the consition is bad synchros into 3rd and a cracked case, i doubt you want it. hows that blown 2.4 treatin you?

hahah, the jungle gym is outta the car for right now, i actually have half the motor taken apart too. im powder coating my im, making a new manifold, downpipe, and exhaust, and getting a ball bearing t3/60 from my buddy at full race that is getting coated too. i have to weld up the exhaust and ish but im hoping to be done within a month tops. should be fun, spool faster and more top end.
If you can get the car to Chandler, I can do it for you..$200, and quite quickly with help.
