View Full Version : CB7 + Altitude = sluggggg

So, my moms got this super clean CB7 she used to mob... She bought an 06 Tiburon and parked the CB7 because it started driving like a turd.

It ran great when she lived here, but when she moved up to Boise, Idaho she said it was fine for like the first few days and now it runs like a slug. It still drives just has almost NO power. I didn't get a chance to check it out but she said I can have it fo' freeeee. So I'm thinking maybe the altitude or different gas threw the ECU into a spazm or something? If I pull the EFI fuse for a bit, will this reset the ECU?

If it's not the ECU then what else could I try?

maybe something else happend to it ..
but u should just take off the ecu and leave the battery off for 10 mins

So I just talked to my mum and she says they towed it on a dolly all the way to Boise.

She said she'll pull the neg. cable for a bit and drive it to see if it resets...

What are the procedures to make sure the ECU relearns everything properly?

maybe something else happend to it ..
but u should just take unplug the ecu and leave the battery off for 10 mins

i say you sell it to me, i miss my accord..lol but ya dude try the battery cable unplug to reset the ecu and depending if its a high milage car might wana check the fuel filter and pump...no gas= no power mang

automatic.

I guess the car was fine here (my bro and I both drive it... It was normal) but after they towed it on the dolly to Boise, it was fine for a few days and now it's all sluggish.

check the main relay that might be the poblem......but idk....good luck
