Anyone? Post up where you ride/distances and what you ride.

Great site for those looking to get a bike and get into it: www.bikesdirect.com
There are also good deals on mtn bikes for those offroaders.

I have a kilo tt. i bought it because its an entry level bike and i didnt want to spend a bunch of money. i figure ill build a nicer bike down the road. i usually ride all over the east valley. and i dont ride because of the scene. i just ride for exercise and its also a great way to get away from everything else going on in life.

That's the same reason I'm getting into it. Exercise and time away from "it all". Haven't decided if i want a fixie or not...deciding between Mercier Galaxy AL or Windsor Clockwork(SS)
I'll be riding QC and the E. valley as well.

I was a fat 220 lbs 1 year ago and started cycling to loose weight. Lost 40 lbs and found out that there are tons of races here in AZ and got hooked. Here are some pics from the past three weeks of races that I have done. Avondale Crit 1st out of 80 field and 2nd in Valley of the Sun Stage race this last saturday out of 110 field. Cervelo R3 w/sram red and Reynolds Wheels. Typically I will ride 40 to 60 miles everyday and if not racing on Saturday I will do 70 to 100 miles.

SWEET HAT! hahaha
props though on doing pretty damn good in something that has lots of competition here in AZ. I wouldn't mind buying a road bike but I've got no time to ride the thing. I work so far from home that riding to work insn't feasable either :(

Cannondale MTB, used to ride trails.
Lately I have been converting it to do some long distance touring. :)

Ride a Motobecane Record, had it for about 2 years now and ride pretty avidly at least 8 miles every weekday, more if im feeling up to it and up to 15 miles on the weekends. I usually ride from 7th st Roosevelt up to Central and Camleback/Highland and or Glendale if i feel up to it. Mainly I ride for time purposes as I dont have the stamina to ride long distance... gotten 8 miles down to about 15 minutes @101 crank revs per minute if I dont get hung up by the shitty light rail, which is much better than my 27 minute and 74 mark last year..

So i ride into work today(19miles) and as i get there i roll up to the gate and come to a complete stop. As i start to put my foot down i realized that i'm still clipped in. Lol so as i start to go down i unclip and barely catch myself. I scoop up my bike and look around to see if anyone saw me. Looks like the coast was clear. It was so funny. Anyone have similar stories?

I ride a 70's Motobecane Mirage. I picked up up from a friend for $20. Needs a little tlc but it has a nice feel to it. Just got into riding in an attempt to get in better shape.

i know tons of them, are you riding a road bike? Are you riding from the east valley? That'll help with what route(s) i'd suggest for you.

i ride a 10 speed vintage takara. i bought it so i could ride from house-to-store, or house-to-bar, but ive ridden from my house to dbacks stadium (10 mile round trip) a few times.

i also just bought a no-name SS from ebay so i could do a bit more urban cycling.
