does anyone know if the cargo covers for the HB are different for each model and year, i tired looking at some and they all look different but maybe u guys might no first hand

I just did. The CARGO COVERS ARE DIFFERENT . They will not fit if you use a ek cargo cover in a eg or eg cargo cover in a ek. Then again you did not even metion what car or cargo cover you are asking about.

All ek hatch covers will fit all ek hatchs no matter what model or year
