So i had a little accident tonight and I ran over a brick or big rock left on the road and it left a nice gash on the insdie sidewall of the Michellin Pilot Exalto PE2 tire on my back driver side rim :pissed:

So my question is, should I got with another PE2 fom the tirerack at $171, or the Ventus R-S2 ( Hankook Ventus R-S2 (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Ventus+R-S2&partnum=145YR7Z212XL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes))
that is on closeout sale from tirerack at $79 or the Kumho Ecsta MX for $110( Kumho Ecsta MX (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=Ecsta+MX&partnum=145YR7EMX&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes))
Will mixing tires affect anything, in this case its only 1 tire.

Let me know your opinions. Thanks!

Car is a 08 FG2

I only need 1 tire, and the other tires have only 6K.

I purchased 1 Michelin PE2 from onlinetires.com and was about 30 bucks cheaper than tirerack. Now i gotta find a shop to mount it and balance it.

Yup, I found out about that website from a guy on 8thcivic. How long does shipping usually take?

even though you only need one tire if you going to use a different brand you should probably replace two, that way you have matching tread patterns and speed/load ratings on each axle
