yo i got an ignition that i need to replace ASAP
i know how to repladce it thats not the problem
the problem is thatthe steerining wheel is locked and i need to get it into the on position
problem number two is it had a screw driver put into the key hole so i need help

any advice you have would be appreciated i need to get this done before the evening tomorrow

you have to take the steering wheel off, take all the covers off, and you'll have to drill out the tamper screws that keep the ignition cylinder on... then go get some new bolts if it will still work with the key, if not you'll have to go buy a new cylinder and have it rekeyed to your key, or use a different key and be ghetto like me.

You should be able to just replace the key cylinder. Don't think you have to replace the whole ignition. You are supposed to turn the key to run then push a small ball bearing and slide the cylinder out. If you can't get to run then you will probably have to do the previous suggestion. Go find a Helms manual for your car online and read up. It is the factory service manual.
