View Full Version : window problem in 2000 integra ls!!!!!!!

the window will roll down fine but when i try to roll it up nothing happens.it makes a ticking noise all the time.i took the door panel off to see what was goin on an noticed that the motor was getting hot when i tryd rollin it up.im thinking its the master panel but idk any help???thx

circuit breaker is poppin. Something isnt letting the motor push the window up. Did you make sure the track is clean and lubed and everything moves ok?

I havent tryd lubing it up because it only does it for a while then it rolls up fine,but its doin it more often now...

i think ur window motor is taking shit...u should try replacing window motor and regulator

ok so i found the problem i took the master window switch apart and found that the drivers side switch wasent engaging properly but at least i got the window up lol.... but ya apparently thats pretty popular for the ls model dc.

ill fix it it takes like five minuts...the hard part is finding a good one cuz i dont have the 170 i heard the dealer wants lol

Happens a lot on Civics too i heard? and was it your motor or no?

no the motor is workin fine , it was the master switch in the door panel...

ya im kinda glad it was the switch because the motor looks like it would be a pain to get to.
but if its the ex door switch theres a ex at ecology on broadway an 33rd...

Well if you read the full post you would no its not the same problem ;master switch ,not motor.Ecology has hundreds of window motors...

good thing he didnt take that advice. Take a second to think before suggesting fixes that waste time and money
