its all depends. are you going to build the motor or just boost the stock motor. if your gunna boost a stock motor go with the type r but if your gunna build your motor then go with the gsr its cheap to buy the actually motor to get started

Gotta Stop you there man. Type R's have Higher Compression than GSR's and LS's even lower. if your gonna Boost a Stock Motor Boost a LS, if your gonna build a Motor Build a GSR with Type R Top End.

Gotta Remember always that Lower Compression Motors, Last Longer Under Boost.
Hence why I want to Build a S4 Turbo motor rather than a S5 Turbo. S4's are lower compression ;)

If you want it too last, you're going to have to build either one of them. Personally, I think I'd start off with finding a gsr block and a b16 head. An itr motor is just too expensive.
