ok, im doing a road trip back to DE to see family befor i leave for basic training. im sitting at a 7/11 in fort worth tx and i just noticed a strange axle sound when i turn. it started out like a

click and now its making a weird grinding sound. also when i turn right, the wheel turns an exessive amount. almost like a drift car at full lock (its a civic). turning left is normal, its just on the

right that turns that far. sorry for all the posts, im posting from my phone an can only type a certain amount of characters. but could it be tierods? cv joints? half shafts?

the boot is possibly ripped and the inner parts are dangling there


can u seee any damage?

axle needs to be replaced

i jacked it up and the passenger boot it torn. i couldn't see any other stuff wrong visually. could that cause the wheel to turn like that too?

yes replace axle
id recommend napa
take them ur old axle and they will get u a new one for like 50$ or so after core charge

penny pincher might have it and cheaper to we got my friends axle for like 34.83 or something like that but it was pretty good no trouble yet

bought new tie rod ends and axles, fixed it right in the parking lot lol. thanks for the help...PROBLEM SOLVED
