So I was lucky enough to stumble upon this abnormally clean Datsun 510 at the Pavillions one night. A few months later, we've finally got it shot! I did a few special things for this shoot.

First and foremost is: I brought on another photographer. Please welcome Charles Siritho (E2blade). He'll be posting his shots once he is available.

Secondly, I wanted a great location. Luckily Nick was nice enough to open the doors to his brand new warehouse over at K-Sport.

I also want to take a quick moment to say thanks to the folks that made this shoot possible.

thanks guys, i worked my ass off to get this shoot. Charles did a great job too. he's got a great eye for this kind of photography. Can't wait til next weekend :)

damn justin you have your work cut out for you with charles on board now. looks good.

sure do.. he's got a great eye for this kind of thing AND great equipment to back it up. I need to upgrade a few things. Hopefully a new Camera body here soon and then some new glass.

Why do you feel the need to buy new equipment?

If you're worried about keeping up with the Jones', then work on your lighting setup and composition. Post processing goes a long way, too. I can guarantee that Charles has an edge over you with his photoshop.

I need sharper glass for sure. I also need a faster and more ISO capable camera body. I'm looking at getting an A700 (same sensor as the Nikon D300) which is supposed to have great ISO capabilities and is quite a bit quicker.

typically, you're correct. Ask charles though lol. I get LOTS of noise in dark areas of pictures (even if my subject is properly lit).

I currently have two studio style lights that we used as stobes and we also used his SB800.

Anyways, I use a Sony A200 right now. It's great for shooting anything during the day. After 6PM, might as well throw the damn thing in the trash can.

Who shoots at 1600?

sheesh, no wonder you get noise.... I wish I had $10k to dump on photo gear. Unfortunately, my parents aren't rich and I've been working since 13 just to make it. The best year I ever had was 07 and I was ballin' for sure, but I'm not tryin' to make money like that anymore.

Thanks! I think between the two of us (charles and myself) we got some pretty great shots. If all goes accordingly, I'll be shooting Chases' S13 in your shop next Sunday.

But great job buddy. One suggestion though, stop using PB to host your pictures. They suck and kill the quality. If you dont believe me, pair up one from flickr to PB and you will know why I dont link my PB images no more.

Model looks to be a veteran, but her expression tells me she's new to the game? Tell her to work on her expression, she needs to let loose and "tease" her viewers.

PERFECT! that's what I've been trying to convey but haven't been able to explain. I'm using that line for sure haha.

The only reason I use PB on forums is because it's easier to post entire shoots. I do like flickr more it's just a pain in the ass to go into each pic just to get the code/url. (cliffnotes, i'm lazy)
