Starter Issue EJ1

my starter is out. i dont know if its the starter or electrical because sometimes it will work but sometimes it wont. when i first got the car everytime i started it, it would make the noise as if you tried starting it twice. but now nothing just a click from inside the car. is it the battery or starter?? thanks guys!!!

sounds like the starter. take it out and take it to checkers or auto zone they test for FREE. Hey before you do that check your ground wires make sure they are tight. check your battery voltage. make sure the harness wire is connected to the starter as well. I had one that likes to fall off every once and awhile.
