NFL Week 8 Picks

Hey Guys! A buddy at work & I email eachother our picks Saturday bafore the games, so I figured it'd be cool for us to do the same on here!

Lets make this JUST the picks with maybe a mild justification on why if you want. Maybe even throw in your "upset" game or something if you'd like! You can just kind of copy/paste my original posting and highlight the WINNER in blue, or just type it. :)

Rules: PLEASE, NO fighting, we have plenty of other team threads to do that in, JUST PICKS! :)

Texans @ Bills (Toss up because of below freezing temps, but Texans on fire)
Browns @ Bears
Seahawks @ Cowboys
Rams @ Lions (Rams should stay winless)
49ers @ Colts (I think Alex Smith brought back down to earth this week)
Dolphins @ Jets (Miami win)
Giants @ Eagles (Giants can't lose 3 straight)
Broncos @ Ravens (Won't bet against Denver 'til they lose)
Jaguars @ Titans
Raiders @ Chargers
Panthers @ Cardinals
Vikings @ Packers
Falcons @ Saints

I'm still so torn on dolphins @ jets, I will update one as winner before tomorrow. Such a toss up.

Texans @ Bills - Bills havent gotten ANYTHING going this season yet
Browns @ Bears - Cutler has been doing decent lately
Seahawks @ Cowboys - Seahawks are hit or miss and Cowboys doing decent the last few games
Rams @ Lions - Rams offense has been clicking lately and have been putting up good drives but have been stalling close to goal line when theres less field to cover. Rams will win
49ers @ Colts - Smith should do decent, but Indy will still win... Im thinking itll be closer than people think
Dolphins @ Jets - Jets will fade out and Miami will take over
Giants @ Eagles - Giants will pick things back up and the Eagles arent healthy enough to stop em
Broncos @ Ravens - Broncos just keep finding ways to win
Jaguars @ Titans - No explanation needed
Raiders @ Chargers - See Above
Panthers @ Cardinals - Momentum and Spirits are high after big win
Vikings @ Packers - Favre will silence the booers
Falcons @ Saints - Drew Breeeeeeeees

Texans @ Bills -Im gonna go with the upset. texans have not played in a game lower then 60 degrees yet
Browns @ Bears - a game when bears really establish a solid running game
Seahawks @ Cowboys - cowboys offense is clicking
Rams @ Lions - both teams are horrible and its a coin toss either way
49ers @ Colts - even though i think this will be one of the better games
Dolphins @ Jets - with the lose of jenkins on nose tackle there run defense is destroyed
Giants @ Eagles - Have too root for the favorite team
Broncos @ Ravens - Ravens defense just falling apart
Jaguars @ Titans - Titans are just too beat up on defense to stop anyone
Raiders @ Chargers - blow out
Panthers @ Cardinals - Panthers are just not clicking and cardinals are pickin up steam
Vikings @ Packers - THe pack has done a better job of protecting rodgers and should pull a win
Falcons @ Saints - Saints just have too good of an off and def to be stopped by the falcons

man my bills upset was looking so good until the 4th quarter.. thats when they started getting use to the weather.. i really didnt see denver, giants, or arizona losing. well i guess anything can happen

For sure man, that Bills upset was very close! I was so torn because Houston in that freezing weather! This week was my worst record for predictions this season, crazy!

I'll get a thread setup for this weekend on Friday or Saturday so we can do it again if everyone likes it! :)

do you think its wise to do a whole thread every week maybe just an nfl prediction thread. Since the topics are only good for a week anyways.. whatever you decide I will make predictions every week.. it just kills me to see the giants fall so quickly.. the laws of gravity took its toll.
