This was shot at approx 6:30 PM, Halloween. Lit with one Sunpak PZ40X.

truth be told. I think you're getting better. That being said.

Pic is sharp and crisp.

It's also overexposed

IMO you should've left the interior light off. (if it was off, you got some weird blue haze from the windshield).

judging by the green, it looks like you took some saturation out of the shot? I think the brighter "colors" (just the green) would've looked better had you made it "pop".

I hate the angle.


Can't wait to see the rest of the set though. I'm sure you'll have some goodies in there.

Ohh and for the record. i've bought all my own equipment :D

Ditto. Angle is rediculous, turn the gamma down in photoshop. Super clean shot overall though.

1. I've had these same issues. I used to edit pics on an HD monitor set up. BAD IDEA b/c anything that is viewed on a regular monitor looks like shit after that haha

2. I'm also pretty surprised that that was all lit with one flash. was the flash bounced or shot through a white umbrella? I am curious how you got so much area covered with just one flash.

Also, why'd you use a Sunpak flash? I thought you had an SB800?

Well, I HAD an SB-800. Due to some issues with living arrangements, I sold the SB 800, cried myself to sleep for 3 days, and bought the PZ40X ) :

Oh, and the blue was a white balance issue. Dome light was off.
