*Belt sound????*

*So Its always something.... When I start my car in the morning or when its been sitting for at least 15+ hours I would say, it makes a screeching noise for like 5 to 10 sec.... I going to guess belt... Maybe timing???? Anyone??? *

yes its your belt jus needs to be tightened up

its not ur timing belt but maybe ur alternator belt. it dosent take much to adjust it but a couple wrenches. you can check by pressing down on the belts to find out which one has to much slack

my ac belt used to do that also when i started the car

my belt squeaked after i ate too much on thursday. I loostened it up and the squeaking stopped. :)

new belts are cheap and easy to replace yourself
yeah your accessory (ac, ps, alt) belts squeal.
timing belts just break. or slip.
pretty much if your timing belt breaks you are fubar
