Cant pass emissions!

My carbonmonoxide levels were throught the roof and I have RC 470 injectors will any stock B series injectors work so I cant pass? (95 GSR)

are you n/a bro?? if ya run stocks threw.. changing the injectors will drop your level alot, but you still could fail depends how everything else is.. adjust idle.. buy new sparkplugs.. start cheap and do little things it makes all the difference..


if you get super frustrated pull an injector clip, and run on 3 cylinders.. gl

yeah im n/a and idle passed. I also have new spark plugs put in a few months ago

Run you fuel level all the way down to like one or two gallons then add an equal amount of E85 and you should be on your way. It made a HUGE difference for me. Dont run alot of that shit tho just a few gallons.

true it works amazing but be super careful it dries your rings out.. dentrated alcohol is pretty much the same idea if you wanna do that.

i would run one gallon regular one gallon e85 and then right when you leave the dmv.. go top off with 91

whats your setup?
Check your ignition system for any probs first, then:
Run some stock injectors and a bottle of rubbing alcohol on a low tank, if that fails pull an injector

at the low loads the car is tested at he should be just fine with stock injectors unless hes got a crazy setup...

do you have anything that requires the 470's? Are you tuned with the 470's? If you have to change your injectors back to stock to pass emissions and your engine is set up for these wouldn't you run the risk of messing things up?

he said he is running n/a are you making high compression or something?? and with the levels he threw he would be fine on stocks.

haha what i would do is borrow a vafc and wire that ish in for a few seconds and bring the fuel level down. i passed with unrealistic numbers when i did this. then bump it back to normal as soon as you are done on the rollers

yeah so I failed 4 times: first go through- failed, stock injectors in-failed, pulled a plug- did worse, put b20 ecu in-failed, put D series ecu stock injectors- PASS! haha worse/best day of my life
