Instrument and running lights arent coming on.

i was driving my 95 gsr and my stereo fell out. now my running and dash lights dont turn on. is there a way to by-pass all the wiring so i dont have to find the source or does someone know of a possible solution?

But seriously you obviously are not aware that there's an "illumination" wire that runs to your cd player.... if that grounds out you blow the fuse that powers your instrument panel lights and outside running lightss. It's under the dash, don't ask which one, you can figure that out on your own.

My car is doing this aswell. The my fuse is good too. I gotta keep playin with the lights until thet come on, ground maybe?

Well actually I do know about that and it seems fine and intact

What seems fine? The wire or the fuse? Either way you have a blown fuse under the dash.

my DC2 did this. it was the backup fuse under the hood. I blew it somehow.

in my old ef i unplugged the dimmer switch to the cluster lights and they turned on. i drove without cluster lights for like 6 months!

Well u just figured out what was wrong with mine. The light switch thing was literally frying and making a nasty ass smell. Bought a new one and BAM, good as new.
