temp question???

when my car warms up what should th normal tempature be !!??
i was told 300 degrees
is this correct!!

Lol wow i never thought of it that way ya most thermostats are 180 185 190 at most three hundred and you head is probably toast

because i have an aftermarket temp gauge that read from 100-350 degress and wen my car is running its always on 300....my original gauge cluster doesnt have the needle for the gas or temp thats why i have that other gauge

:word: it sits around 180ish. its like 2 or 3 lines below the halway
if its running like that right now i'd check your head where the block and head meet to see if theres coolant seeping out anywhwere. and change out your thermostat

Car should run around 200 - 210 in the summer and closer to 190 in the winter.
