fuel pump help please!!!!!!!

ok so my friend was cleaning his intake mani alot of gunk where the injectors are after he finished he put it back together and pinch off a wire for the intjector well after he did that his car wouldnt turn on well i fixed the wire and the fuel pump wasnt coming on so checked the fuses and put a new pump and nothing i dont know if they have a relay its a 92 cx but i didnt find a relay, can anyone help plz need to get it running thanks alot for looking and comments

ok so anyone who reads this we put a new fuel pump in but still nothing it cranks but its not getting gas i hear the pump turn on now when u turn the key but i have no fuel pressureand no gas is comming out the injectors plz someone help

did you try to put power directly to the pump to see if it would turn on?

Ecu plugged in? Fuel relay in the engine harness? Main relay?
What dizzy is on the car?
