Dont get tokico blues!
they were fine on the freeway but on the city roads with construction etc they were extremley rough!

i orginally thought Ksports were crap cuz of what everyone told be.. but apparently they are good.. and local!

stock shock ebay sleeves
tokico ebay sleeves
tokico ksport springs
tokico skunk2 springs

the skunk2 springs rode fine handle alright but no matter what all springs will sag in the rear
which lead me to cut my front springs to try to even the drop out.
just buy full coilovers something cheap like ksport coilovers or blackworks

its very cliche' but you dont wanna cheap out on suspension man. But I feel ya 1400 aint cheap.. but compaired to other companies its not bad. hit up the vendors on here. they have good prices on ksports and others.

i'm dropped on eibach sportlines and tokicos blues. I have no problem with my springs. The ride is ok, but since I run a 205/40 tire I feel a lot of the road under my tire. My car isn't lowered as much as most people try to lower their ride so not sure if you'd want to go with my setup. I'm happy with it though.

You can get both Ksport and Blackworkracing Coilovers for under 1k
which is Cheap compared to other suspension out there.
I would never pay over 1k for Ksports hahaha fuck that.

thanks man, and if anyone wonders why im in SD on an AZ forum...its the only up to date EM2 thread ive seen lately :) well one of my main questions is suspension. what is everyone running? im looking into a few options, tokico blues w/ tein, eibach or H&R springs all about 1.3-1.5" drop, or full coilvers DS2 or Tein basics. whats good what isnt? daily driver with the occasional spirited driving and hard cornering on them freeway ramps haha

yea? first time ive heard that...my homeboy cut into my fenders and did them for me, kinda hard to find a template, so we had to use pictures and references to do the best we could. no way i was gonna pay for the fenders cuz then id never have the money to paint it, two tone paint and primer/ gel coat isnt my style

I have an almost completely stock 2004 Satin Silver VP Coupe MT (no use posting pics). I think of it as the coolest damn thing you could get with a warranty:
- Strut King Short Shifter
- Bluetooth FM Transmitter
- Silverstar Ultra Bulbs
- and uh... painted valve cover lol

I'll be doing a gauge cluster swap for a plug and play 01-02 LX/EX to gain a tach... but not much else is coming soon...

i'd assume it's mainly because of the power plant behind it. It wasn't anything that had any major horsepower and it takes so much to get any numbers out of it.

x2... most EM2's have a non-vtec engine and even the ones that do have the vtec are still pretty piss poor as far as power. also, the older body style of Civic are MUCH cheaper. The 6th gen even can go for under $1000. On top of that you can put $4000 more to drop a B series in it and you've got a 170 HP car (without boost or juice)... and that maybe exaggerated as far as price.

In terms of styling I would say the 04/05's are in the top five sexiest looking Honda, though. I love the EM2... when I walk away from mine I almost always turn back and throw it a little wink because that's my pretty lady...

dam it was good times on my em2 i drove that from ny to out here and my k20 was not tune up.
and never gave me any problems at all. and as i remember i was one of the first too in phx with a k20 em2.

He bought it stock on the special edition wheels bout two weeks ago. so far rims tires and dropped on nuespeed springs which actually ride pretty good so far. Just a simple budget build hes not looking to do anything major

I'd agree it's no where near dumped even my eibach system had a little tuck in the rear and the front still had a gap.It's very hard to dump an em2.
