Went to control panel then hardware and sound then just started messing with shit and hoped it work.

did wonders for this computer lol

nah ive triend that on mine so many time ... ive even reset the whole damn laptop twice
still nothing

Go into control panel->System->hardware->Device Manager->Sound Video and Game controls. Click on the plus sign and look for any yellow exclamation points. If there is nothing there LMK and well look somewhere else.

tried everything its been like this for about 5months or more it says eveything is fine ..im not a noob at computers btw.
i have a external sound card (usbportstatus) and that works

well if the external one works then obviously your internal sound card is :thumbsdown:
Or i guess possibly disabled like ImurvineDa9 tried to suggest was a possibilty sorta

yah that was my thought but i guess its built into the board so i cant really do shit about it ..but buy a new one.

Well not really disabled but more like if you re-ran OS (especially if its an OS that didnt come with the laptop) you might not have the drivers installed for your audio. If the drivers are installed then if you come to the friday meet I can hook you up with a USB audio hookup, it connects to usb and has a 3.5mm audio jack so you can plug speakers to it.
