Looks like Ford is going to replace the Crown Vic with the Taurus for police duty. It will be interesting to see if any departments pick up the available twin-turbo V6 with AWD.

Chevy is bringing back the Caprice with RWD and V8 power. It's similar to the doomed Pontiac G8, and won't be sold to the public.

your 1st link doesnt work.. But both of those cars are awesome (even the Ford) I will love to see the "G8" comeback.

though the city will probably get a discounted rate...its amazing to see how they city wil throw away funds.. even in a recession.. I mean honestly is a SHO really needed?

The police interceptor will be available with the Eco-Boost upgrade without all the extras that come in the SHO, so it will probably cost less, but yeah it's going to be expensive.

Saw this and a few other cars being tested at Speedworld a while back.
Thing was pulling 13's stock.
Not bad considering most Mustang GT's can't even do that lightly modified


Doesn't mean no more hide and seek, just means you gotta get better at it. :)
