1-800-Contacts is where I get mine...it's less than half the price that my doctor charged me.

The first time is usually expensive, though, because the doctor has to get 2 samples for you and then see if those work or if they need to tweak the measurements. If they work, they'll order them for you but you just need to tell them no and that you'll buy them yourself. Mine are toric lenses, which are more expensive, and they run about $110 shipped from 1-800-Contacts for a 4-month supply (which can be stretched easily to 6 months) whereas the exact same contacts and amount was $279 from the doctor when I got them for the first time.

you want a great deal hit up wal-marts eye care center......its about 68bills for the eye test then depending on what brand of lenses you want roughly about 30-50bills for 3 months of disposable ones, hope this helps

You must see a eye doctor first to have and examination of your eyes. then you can test out contacts and start purchasing them.
I use 1800 contacts, their prices are fair.

I tried wal mart and even when i used my insurance i would have to pay at least $200 out of my pocket. Maybe cause i have a lot of stigmatism?

That's why I mentioned that mine are TORIC lenses.

They're more expensive than regular ones and I have the toric ones because of my astigmatism.

It still depends on brand and all that, and the eye exams and other fees they tack on can get expensive. That's also why I said that the first visit is the most expensive one.
