Im looking for free spyware removers. Currently i use adaware, but was wondering what else you guys might recommend and find to work the best.

I've always likes Spy sweeper and Stopzilla.But I think your already golden w/ adaware thats good too. but eh, what do I know, wait for the computer heads to chime in lol

the reason i ask is because im only using the freeware version of adaware and it seems like it could do better

mal-ware bytes and cccleaner is what I use.

avg works good but takes up alot of memory. i like adaware...

Nothing free is 100% effective. i recommend purchasing a 360 degree protection program, saves you from a major headache and your computer.

i agree i was just seeing what others preferred, i don't like using big anti virus programs because they slow the computer down so much. I really don't mind redoing my whole computer every now and then i just keep all my personal stuff (pictures and music) on a external harddrive

I dont get spy/adware but I would use Ad-Ware by Lavasoft if I did...

I use Ad-Aware also. A good one also is SpyBot Search and Destroy.

At my work, they've switched all the PCs to Vipre. It boasts not being a resource hog, and seems to hold up so far.
