So my bullshit for the day...
So I pretty much have my car sold. so I went to look for the title in my desk where I kept all my stuff (birth certificate, car title, ect) and its empty. So I asked my dad if he knew where it want and he threw it all away. The car is in my moms name and my mom lives in mexico (no that doesnt make me mexican) so I have no way of getting a title. She said she isnt comin back to AZ for a month. anyone have any ideas lol???

Have her overnight a power of attorney. I just had to do that for my motorcycle title, my gf's mom co-signed on my loan. PITA but it got it done. Over nighting a piece of paper isn't "that" expensive. Both the bikes I sold the people were understanding that I had to wait for a new title to be processed. If you can get the letter from your mom and its an AZ title, you can print it up at the DMV.

Just have your buyer get a 90 day temporary registration, front him the $15.00, and give him a bill of sale.

Well you have no title, and there is a process to getting a new title. Get it done! :P Just call your mom and ask her to take out a peice of paper, find a crayon and write "I give full legal rights to XXXX for possession of vehicle with vin#:, including sale, and any changes in the title". oh and it needs to be notarized heh... they have those in mexico right?

have her go to a notario place in mex and get u a specific POA then go to dmv with ID and vin # and some cash and git er dun. The bill of sale protects the buyer until car is legally his so its a nice gesture

power of attorney would be best, tell the person buying it about the situation and if you do the proper documentation on the matter he should be able to apply for a new title at the DMV.
