Ill probably grab one when the 3g comes out, there are apps for everything i do on my netbook at work already. But this is thiner, lighter, and built in 3g card. Just depends what you need it for. Most people would find it 127% useless lol.

It is.

The metro has a very over sensitve ebrake, with some left foot braking and a quick ebrake yank the metro can slide on its 4 145 wide tires with reckless abandon. It is much more fun than a overpriced no usb, no SD slot, no multitasking, no iChat, buggy wireless oversized ipod touch.

The metro gets 59 MPG, the Ipad just gets a few hours of use out of a charge.

The metro has a somewhat rubbery, notchy, 5 speed, but still toe/heels. Yes, you read right. I even toe-heel downshift in a metro. The same action with an iPad would result in breakage.

I can have sex in a geo metro, if you did that on a iPad, you would break it.

I can pick up chicks in my metro, and they are better chicks than the overly trendy hipster stabucks sipping yuppie chicks that will most likely by an iPad. With the metro I can pick up somewhat smelly, but hot, skinny, tree-hugging hippy vegan chicks. I cannot pick up fat emo chicks, that would buy an iPad, because the car does not have the power to move them, and playing anything that sounds like "black Parade" in my cars will get you punched in the eye.

My metro has a user serviceable battery, like most apple products the iPad does not.

My metro, the value goes up, as gas prices rise. The iPad will only lose value, because there will be twenty different varations that everyone else will want over the original, therefore making the first model not near as cool and trendy.

The metro allows me to wear a ridiculous hat while driving, and it distracts people from the fact I am driving a geo metro hatchback like it is a WRC car, and therefore I seem cooler. Whipping out your iPad in public will inspire sneers from people who were smart enough not to buy one.

The engine, completely assembled, in my metro, weighs 134 lbs and the total car weight is 1627 lbs, and I am pretty sure that is a better power to weight ratio than an iPad.

Do I drive the metro much, no. I have my miata, and a Corolla for DD tasks. But I would still rather go beat the hell outta the metro, then spend five infuriating minutes trying to use a product with limited functionality and limited capability that I paid way to much cash for.

so in summary 53xxx original mile metro is better than the iPad, and the minty metro only cost me less than what an iPod touch costs.
