its my sons 2nd b-day coming up (end of may) and not sure where to take him since he still small.

i've looked at a few places (chucky cheese, PPP) but i wanna do something cool for him.

my son lucked out this year and gets two birthday parties since me and his mom split. I want him to be able to have fun, but not make it seem im upping her one since she's doing hers in a public park. (LOL)

parents of azht, any ideas to help this dad out?

i was just looking at the jumper deals, if you do it in a public park, do i need a permit or anything i need to obtain for the city? i knows it public park but you have rules and shit they dont tell you about with public parks

i think you have to tell them what company your using for the jumping castle to make her there license is still current cause he found one for cheap and they told us we couldnt use them cause their license was exp. but i dont remember having to have a permit and if you did i guess i didnt follow the rules lol

Not a dad but one of the chandler parks have a small train that ppl can ride on. I also think they have some other cool thing for the kids. Its the same park where the skatepark is if that helps at all.

Amazing Jake's in Mesa. A tad bit pricey but worth it for all the kids.

is he really gonna remember his 2nd bday...kids parties are more about the parents until the kid can actually remember them

There's a place on alma school and guadalupe I think. Its next to taco bell and arby's. Can't think of what its called. Cool little place if you're on a budget. Like $200 for 25 people or some shit. Look it up.

Im not sure what area of town you are in, but my suggestion would be to take him to a zoo/aquarium. Last week I went to this new aquarium off 101/northern and it was pretty cool. If you are going to have a small group of friends, I'm sure that the park would allow you to have a picnic (sandwiches/chips/potato salad/etc). Here's some pics I took when I was there

Peter piper is always good for bdays. Look up pump it up. Its a big room with bouncies and all inflated slides and stuff. You have to reserve it just for your guests. We been there 5 times its cool.

We also rent bouncys from happy feet for like 100 bucks and you get it wherever you want all day. They set it up and take it down after the party. The kids always love it and they have a cars themed on and a couple others to choose.
