Hey will a Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bd run an Alpine Type X (12") just fine? Or is it underpowered?

t1000 puts out 750w rms @ 2ohm to your type x

nah, type x will take 1000 rms...can probably take more but thats what alpine deems safe

There is nothing wrong with underpowering as long as it is a clean signal. Too often people get this confused just don't turn everything up and think it will be fine you must have everything adjusted correctly...!

don't go off the rated power of the amp, Rockford under rates their amplifiers. You should have a PVC stating the amps actual power. The T1000-1bd puts out around 1400watts @ 1ohm
