need a key made for a 94 civic. I bought the car at an auction but some asshole stole the key. is there anyone here that is a locksmith or knows a cheap locksmith? prefer you come to me but I can drive to you if needed.

if its the original ignition go to honda with your title or registration and have them cut you a key...

Correct. Its way cheaper than a locksmith.
if you dont have a title/registration in your name, well.. you probably dont own the car and dont need a key! :)

i got a key made for my sons 91 hatch with only the registration. i think they go back as far as '89...

IDK man I have been jiggling the locks to move/lock the car, I never had the keys in my possession.
any idea how much he charges to make a key
I dont know. He does any of mine for free so i have no idea lol. Might want to look him up in the phone book.

Did u buy it from shamrock by any chance? They tend to "lose" keys so u pay them for 1 "that might be" the right key, I gave em 20 bucks and magically the key to a monte carlo I bought from there appeared.

read post above yours, when you have a dealer license its a plus, since keys tend to get stolen!
Totally agree. When I was moving auction cars, I had to have a set of honda jigglers. They were never used for harm and I still have them somewhere around my house. Had the keys for old preludes/accords/86 civics and all.
I used to pull the trunk lock out and take it to a locksmith and pay $25 for a key, they use the lock code numbers to cut it. Then, I went to Honda with the title and paid $6 plus tax and will never use a locksmith again, ever.

when you move cars you need to know how to jiggle, im no thief but i can unlock and drive off on an older honda in 10 secs, thats why every honda owner should have a hidden kill switch
