Dear Honda,

This car will only sell in the US if:

1 - You offer an Si version with a 6-spd and gas-only 197 hp 2.0l i-Vtec (drop the hybrid crap).

2 - Lose about 500lbs (dropping the hybrid crap will help take care of that).

3 - Trim it with a moonroof and spoiler standard. And maybe a nice low-key body kit.

4 - Sell it for less than $20K.

Otherwise, you lose (and I sadly won't be buying one).

Dear honda thank you for making a car that an em2 should be able to burn. I look forward to stomping these new innovative cars into the ground on the streets. Also thank you for making them smaller than my em2. Now i'll have no excuse to buy one instead of an em2. Most of all thank you for failing at making cars. We look forward to seeing honda of america be overtaken again by chevy and vw that is all.

It seems as though the CR-Z is just a modern, sporty version of the 1st gen Insight. It's almost as if the Insight was the HF model, and the CR-Z is the Si model, but separated by 12 years. The Insight had 80 HP total, and the CR-Z has 122 HP total, a difference of 42 HP. The 2nd gen CR-X HF had 72 HP, and the Si had 108 HP, a difference of 36 HP. This car is the perfect candidate for a Type-R model.

just because spoon and mugen are messing with them doesn't change the fact that it's a heavy and underpowered electric hybrid. at least on paper...it is...

if this is the direction american honda has taken their company, fine. but i just wish they wouldn't associate this new CRZ with the CRX. it's just simply a marketing ploy to blow it up to something more appealing than it really is. and its an insult to "loyal CRX fans," if honda really thinks we'll fall for the gimmicks promoting the CRZ as "sporty" given the specs of the car. i mean, a solid beam rear susp? really?

PLUS youll actually have SOME room and a GOOD looking car.
