Yes sir. I'll try to get a how to going for the next one I do. Its not too bad... especially if you're working with a guitar body thats pretty clean... when sanding it down however its really cruical to keep going over everything evenly... just like anything else if you focus on one area just because you still see paint you'll end up with a very uneven surface. However, if you just want to paint over your exsisting paint just scuff it up a bit... you are just using flat black. If it starts to look like crap again take it down again and paint over it. You just inspired me to make a "ratrod" guitar. Haha. Old rusted parts. I'll split the money with you when they go into production. :goodjob:

Here is my amp, I have had it for a few years now. It works and that's all I need it to do lol. I'm no musician, but I have been playing off and on for 6 years now. (Yes I keep my chip burner on my amp lol)

This is my most favored distortion pedal. I have used the mxr distortion (crap), mxr's dime distortion (another piece of junk), boss (orange) distortion pedal (it was alright), and I have also used the jeckyl and hyde and I kinda liked it lol. I have never touched digitech.

^Its a Jackson performer, again it does what I need it to lol.

It has the dimebucker in the bridge and sh7 in the neck. Sounds great, but I would like to get a new neck for it.

Very nice man! I've always seen the DimeBucker as a neck pickup! How do you like running it as a bridge?

I loves it, i need to brush up on my playing some and make a video. I like a decent amount of treble, little bit of mid, and bass I keep around in the middle. Basically I like a throaty tone. The pick up really helps boost the trebble so my settings arent ridiculous, you know? lol

Well I can play alot of stuff off of the 98kupd pretty easily. Deftones, Janus, Framing Hanely, System of a Down, ect. Bass I can play some Dimmu Borgir, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tool, ect. I REALLY want to play like the guys in As I Lay Dying or Haste the Day. I love that kind of stuff. But I need mucho more practice. I love listening to Classic rock too... Its really whatever I feel like. Hell I've done a Metal version of PitBulls-Hotel and a man version of Keshas-Tick Tock. Lol. I'm pretty diverse. I'll try to get both of those recorded here soon and get them on a myspace page or something so you guys can give it a listen.

hell yeah bro, that would be cool, i think rusted pickup covers would be cool, might create a cool sound too, ruster hardware would be pretty sweet, but i wouldn't rust the tuners or the tail stop lol... just do a black chrome or flat black pieces there...

what kind of paint do you use when you do it? any recomendations?
