i keep waiting for the scream to come in and then it doesn't come, i thought with the name they'd for sure be a screamo band.

the singers voice sounds good to me but it just seems a little bland, maybe it's the musical progression or just the fact that it seems like it's about to hit a climax and then it just stays the same. a lot of suspense for not a lot of payoff ya know?

musically they seem coherent at least, but that's most bands nowadays, hard to find a bad musician anymore lol, it's usually just writing and singing that suffers from what i've seen.

i agree alot with statik^ but at the same time i do like it, kinda has an afi feel to it. could use a sceamer in there somewhere tho lol. whens a show, ill go check em out

i wouldn't lump this band in with AFI, davey's voice has a range that really no group out currently could even match. granted he's been taking voice lessons since about 1999 or sooner so that definitely helps. either way, the songs seem to have little to no feeling to me, with a band like AFI you get the occasional yells/screams that give it emotion. classic example from AFI is an older one, listen to Coin Return off of Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes back in 1997 Davey was already doing this. I don't think the band necessarily needs an addition but for my taste it's quite bland. seems a little too alt-rock for me, pearl jam is to blame i'm fairly certain.

no, the music it self is not what i meant, more so the voice in the second song sound kinda like the new davey havoc singing. i miss davey from black sails and older personally.

ah, i didn't listen to the second song til just now, and i would still say it's no comparison, he sounds like he's trying to hard to me. also he's not singing properly at all, sings almost from his nose. needs to be a lot more body behind it... sticking with my analysis from previous posts, just boring to me.

I believe the cd release party/show is on the 5th next month... all the show dates should be on myspace. If not ill hit my boy up and find out.
