hx to ex transmission swap

anyone else heard of this, i have a 98 civic hx manual, and heard the ex manual transmission is a better tranny to go with..just wondering if anyone on here has done this? if its worth my time to do? and if the gears are shorter than the hx transmission?

^ perfect answers..if you really wana know and you got the time pull the tranny and swap it out. probably wont take you more than a day with the right tools!!!

what all would i need to buy to convert it? just the transmission?

tranny pretty much all the tools which make it easy to do in just a hour and ahalf
-air compressor
-impact
-32mm socket
-26 inch extension
-17mm socket
-jack & jack stands
-19mm socket
-10mm socket
just a couple others tools to but if u have all ur tools set out and it will go real quick
