After almost 3 months of repairs to the dragstrip, Firebird Intl' Raceway is proud to announce the renovations are complete and the track is ready for some burning rubber!


Thank God, Firebird is so much closer for us.... Who's all coming out?

ah yea i am a complete noob when it comes to the track (only been down the strip once in my life with a DA and got screwed over by the guy controlling the tree)... welcome to the honda game :thumbup: make sure to get your shit on lockdown(ie alarms and kill switches) just in case if you didnt know... but yea im crossing my fingers but dont wanna promise anything, cuz i got allot of shit i gotta pay for already off this check so i can only wait and hope its a good one, so i can hit up the track asap

Na I got a full split been driving on it since I got the car about 2 years ago. As long as no pebbles get in there your good to daily it. But just gotta make sure grease is in them and once they start crackling when you turn then you need them changed asap. But I wouldn't really recommend driving on a torn axle boot like nothing was ever wrong

when its about 110 out..... yes you could say last night it was a 15 sec car. 13 second pass was in the winter time dude. he had traction problems too

whats there not to get. you will run horrible times when its 110 out. i dont know if you have ever been to the track during the summer vs the winter but there is a significantly big difference in what you will run due to how hot or cold it is outside.

that 13 second run was in january when it was about 55 degrees at night. compare that to a run in 110 degrees in the middle of summer... there ya go...

I really thought the dragstrip was going to be packed. I guess the heat really steered people away. Like I mentioned in another thread. While cold out, my car ran 12.6 at 114. Hot out, 13.0 at 109.
