so ive heard different answers different places when i searched about this, but whenever i get up into my RPM band pretty high it hangs for a LONG time when i push in the clutch, fairly noticeable. My EK Si coupe doesnt have that issue at all, but it does have a lightened flywheel and all the bolt ons.

from what i read a lightened flywheel and pulleys are the way to correct it but someone else said I/H/E also helps alot becuase the engine is fairly choked up.

rev hang has to do with the dbw on the FA/FG SI's. your si powered ek has a throttle cable. which is why you don't have rev hand on that car. you can get rid of the rev hang by getting flash pro, or access port.

sweetness i was looking at getting flashpro first and an intake.

thanks for the info, i hadnt heard about the drive by wire being related to it!

it certainly makes sense because my fit does the same thing.
