when i talked to brad at PWJDM they said the veins by the MAF are not in perfect and effect the flow and i get a hiccup from the disruption of the air and they said flash pro will fix it

Hum interested I was asking cause I installed a aem on a 2010 si and it feels wierd sometimes hard to explain it like the oem intake was better or something lol

Don't quote me but I think the PWJDM Intake is the best intake on the market right now for the Civic Si. I saw a few tests ran with that thing, and it makes a HUGE difference, also people like to use either the "Jackson Racing" or "Comptech" supercharger in balance with that intake....Oh yes, both fit in the bay just fine :D

you have to actually TUNE the intake to the car... . I highly reccomend wrapping the PWJDM intake in a radiant heat reflective tape to keep heat soak to a minimum. I wouldn't even bother with a MAF tune on it.

Hondata has instructions on how to tune for an intake if you want to use the MAF.

I have Flashpro and the HPS intake tube connected to the stock Intake setup with K&N filter. I have not road tuned it myself and just using the Hondata base map for OEM STOCK car. It runs great. Definite difference over stock as 3,000-5,800 RPM range is a lot more fun to use now w/o being in Vtec even. I don't see any fuel issues but I haven't datalogged durring heavy traffic with heat soak or anything.

Soo my Brother is in the same situation right now with his Fg.
He's looking at getting a Fujita or Tekeda (Not sure?) but doesn't want to deal with any of these hiccups or problems that are associated with an intake and the maf sensor.
With flash pro what needs to be done to correct the issues that may arise with an intake?

From what I hear, the main fix is to NOT use the MAF calibration, go straight to MAP only.. . Otherwise you have to FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and tune for the intake per Hondata's guidence.

Lowcash is probably id say your best bet around here if you want your tune to get you the most performance and reliability!

NO ONE can beat LoCash Racing, Joe is the original Hondata dealer and therefore he has the best pricing, add in a tuning package for an even better deal.

VERY smart idea. Idk why others do not do this. Your "Cold air intake" gets hot as fuck in the engine bay so you HAVE to wrap it.
