wassup guys, gonna start my first build.. Its gonna be a LSvtec motor revving to about 8500 - 9000 rpms.. My question is about the connecting Rod bearings.. Can I use B16a bearings on the LS Rods?.. I heard about people using GSR bearings in B16a rods, just that you have to renotch them?.. I really dont know.. and I know LS bearings cant handle such High RPMs. anyone can help? Please..

Just use acl bearings for the ls and mic them. That should last a couple weekends at 9k lol I wouldn't use the stock rods or bolts if you plan on building a rev box.

dont tell me u gonna rip open the crankcase of the b16 and use those bearings? lol. i would just go to honda and buy new bearings with ur choice of color or size. i think its all the same for crank bearings.

This is the answer you should listen to though. The bearings are not the weak link its the rod bolts and balance of the LS rotating assembly.

Others have already told you what you are failing to read. Use LS bearings (b16 are the same) and ARP rod bolts. Get the rods resized. Check the clearances. simple. If you can't understand that, send the block to someone who will listen, so they can put it together for you.
