get a quote from a shop, get ur money and ill fix the exterior for $2300 i include parts labor and paint that will save you about $2000 for wheels, turbo, nitrous, carbon fiber parts etc....

but since the bags when off they might total the car out.

According to the insurance company it is still repairable (body shop estimate ~9.5K) but things can change once they tear it down. I asked them about the airbags and they said it is not a factor. They said its based on a % of repair cost vs pay off value, which is usually 70-75% when they total.

I'm 29 with a bad record but a lot of stuff dropped off. E-surance = about $580 every 6 months on my 08 Si which I bought brand new.

I've allways heard that EVO8/9 insurance was worse than the STi insurance for some reason. I think it had to do with the crash safety test data. not as safe of a car. And I think that the front mount intercooler adds cost to a front end collision which would raise premiums too. I think they are higher on the list for theft as well so there's another reason.

Oh yeah, also matters what town you register/insure your car in. Rates can jump a lot if there are alot of nice cars in the area and or a lot of thefts.

oh well it was at the dealership i was working at at the time, Avondale Dodge, it was a leased vehicle i talked the guy out of and into a new dodge truck. It was uber clean, 100% stock, just had a slight nick on one side of the rear end. Had 55k miles or so. Had the upgraded bass package but no navi. They wanted 16995, since i was an employee i got it for right around 15k, parents co-signed and got me 5% interests for 72 months.

dont go CRZ, if anything id say yes to the S2K, but if youve never had a four door before you gotta get a Si Sedan, i LOVE mine and before it i hated anything other than coupes.
