power window issue 03 civic hybrid

The drivers side power window cable came off the lifting mechanism for the window. the cable seems like its not long enough or in the right place to full connect to the part that holds the glass. i tried for hours to get more slack from the motor and it just wont move and i dont want to force anything.



any solutions?

Is the window down or up? You might need to try it both ways.

its down but i have it taped up right now. it moves freely on the rail that guides it.

And it just won't hook back into place to make it move up and down on the switch?

well the problem is i cant figure out where the cable connects to. bc there's a wheel at the top and the bottom and i took the passenger panel off to see how its hooked up and the cable runs up and down the rail. its really hard to explain. its something you have to see.

Ya I hear ya, can you get on a website and see how its suppose to go on to maybe fix it? That might be your best bet.

i cant seem to find a diagram anywhere. i even downloaded a fsm and it didnt have anything in there...

Call a honda dealership. That's what I do when I vant find answers. They will print you out diagrams if you need it.
