Sounds like it was put together real good then!
Should have had the block decked and the head milled, sounds like the head gasket isn't sealing.

head gasket is most likely blown I would definitely do a leak down test

i had already changed every gasket but the head one. i was thinking might as well get the head machined while i'm at it and then put the new gasket on.

yes. but also do a leak down. you could have other issues besides the hg

could be bad valves or the seals. start by checking the plugs and then pull they head. if its not the headgasket then its gonna be an issue with the valves...

well if its a valve problem, the guy who does my machines will take care of it. earlier my driver side axle snapped, its one damn thing after the other :lame:

what color are the spark plugs? do they have like a burnt white to them? Burning coolant? deff. do a leakmdown to see whats up before ripping the head off

the plugs are new they havent been in there more then a few days, and the old ones seemed to just have normal wear on them

A bad head gasket is going to leak coolant into the cyl before oil, sounds like a bad valve seal, valve guide or possibly the cyl's have no cross hatch on them anymore and it just needs a fresh rebuild. If you bring it to me I can narrow it down for you if you'd like. Pm me.

Was this a running motor prior to lsv? Like it was your running motor? Was it ever boosted on prior that you know? If so, it could have band ringlands... Just makin an assumption...

not entirely sure of what you mean by "leak down"

A leak down basically pressurizes the cyl with air and you measure the percentage lost of air. Usually you can hear it out the dip stick if its rings, out the tail pipe for bent exhaust valve, out the throttle body for bent intake valves or you'll hear it coming from the valve seal with the valve cover off.
