ok i have a b16a and wanna swap the block out with a b20b with high compression pistons...not sure of the piston ratio....but i have stage 2 crower cams (63402) part #...with crower dual springs (84163)part #.. and manley valves with a port and polish & 3 angle valve job and aem trutime cam gears on the head...would this be a decent setup? estimated hp? and would it stand a turbo in the future with just arp studs and rod bolts..?? thanks for any help!!!

depending on how you set it up you can make upwards of 200whp
hi comp pistons pretty much nix any turbo dreams though

Shouldn't this be in tech.

What comp. are you wanting. Are you going to stay with an 84mm bottom.

^^not sure if it has been bored to 84.5 or what not when the previous owner put the high comp pistons in...i do wanna get the block resurfaced, and honed? but i dont wanna end up havin to by new pistons? (possible?)..the motor already has had a vtec head so i dont need the conversion kit either..and when i get the motor, is there a way to tell the size and brand of piston? sorry all the Qs and thanks again..

those arent crazy aggressive cams but should push you to around 200whp with at least 11:1 CR, proper supporting mods and a Locash tune.

i almost think he said 13: somethin but dont quote me on that lol...but 200whp is decent right? and would upgrading from 0bd0 to obd1 and a hondata s300 be worth getting since turbo is out of the question??and what size injectors??and i have a oem fuel pump as well..is a walboro fp recommend on this swap?

90.DB1.TEG

^^supporting mods as in rods? or would i be able to get away with just arp rod bolts??

fuel pump no but its not a bad idea to buy a new one since yours is the smae age as the girl im boning
ARP yes

I meant bolt-ons, like a 3" intake with vel stack and good filter, good header or knockoff of a good header, aftermarket or type R intake mani, aftermarket TB, hi-flow cat, bigger injectors, good cams (yours are fine)

13:1 means you are gonna need e85 or race gas.

lmao...haha.... i have a stock throttle body of some kind but its been ported by the same shop who did the headwork but i dont have the papers or specs its just has the same stamp from the speed shop thats on the head..i have a p75 intake mani with a STR fuel rail and fpr reg.. know nothin bout the injectors?? no idea what brand or cc..DC 4-2-1 ceramic headers...3" ebay "cold" air intake with a spectra filter 2.1/4 exhaust with cat and resinator{dam az emissions} and a pr3 ecu with mugen chip..and the head work previously explained.....any mods that should be changed or upgraded?? and i do remember him sayin that he did run e85 but its not needed.. either way i have a gas station near that sells e85...but is there a way to tell the compression ratio on the pistons?? i really wanna know that before i jump into it not knowin.

you can measure the CC's of the pistons to determine compression ratio...

compression test the motor, ditch the POS AEM trutime cam gears, go get a retune from Joe, DONE.

Get rid of the sorry ass LS tranny .

You need an pbd0 to 1 conversion harness, chipped obd1 ecu, and $450 to pay Joe to tune the car on Neptune.

Also get rid of the ls trans, it kills the power band of any Honda. Get a gsr or b16, if you have the funds add an itr LSD...
