import drag racing scene

just moved here from California, and i was wondering if u guys have any local racing series (drag) around here?? or at least Honda days at the local tracks???? i did some re-search and the only decent thing i could find is IFO but fucking Tucson once a year!!!!

Please tell me that there is something going on (not interested in street racing. Been there, done that). It will b hard to believe that there is nothing going on here, having some of the most important shops/manufacturers on the import community ( Full-Race, Hasport, AFI, Neptune, Locash etc)...\

NOTE: I don't have a race car right now, I had to sell my baby to b able to move here, i really want to put something together again but dammit i need some motivation here!!

As far as import face off or something similar here in Phx would probably be import vs domestic at speedworld but Im not sure if they do that anymore

As far as import face off or something similar here in Phx would probably be import vs domestic at speedworld but Im not sure if they do that anymore

Imports vs Domestics will continue in 2011 with Speedworld under the AZSRA title.

Welcome Karnal, but when I lived in PHX, there was a monthly event at Speedworld and Friday night racing at same place....

We like firebird because it’s really close to us. Speedworld is good on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I guess the car may look kind of green some times.

Most of us are still working on our cars, but AllVtec needs to go do some testing and see if his new clear plug wires will make the car any faster.. :)
