Question about Ls Vtec

I was just searching about ls-vtec and found this website. Im still new to the whole thing. Im trying to get ideas on what direction i want to go with an engine. The Title of this is "Why I Dislike LS/VTEC" This was interesting to me maybe all you veterans will have your views. I just trying to see what you all think and your opinions? Are ls vtecs not as good as ppl make them to be?
