How long have you gone on a timing belt on your civic. Changing mine and just wondering how long you went I'm at 130000. I think that's pushing it.

wow thats getting pretty up there, but yes ive seen a few like this and the teeth on the belt were already missing! but still running ok.

I know its not a honda but had this same case on a kia with 150k on the oem belt, also had teeth missing running fine.

Change it! haha

Do it before it breaks or it will cost a grip more!

I did mine at around 90k back when I owned my civic and it still looked brand new.

I pushed the limit when I did mine. I was around 140xxx. But I wasn't sure if the owner before me replaced it. But when I took my head off to get it machined and replaced all my valves I did my timing belt and water pump. Make sure you do that too. Might as well since its off and its right there.
