oil pump question.

i recieved my oil pump today and it didnt come with a gasket. it only came with a little "o" ring gasket. my question is, do i need a gasket to go around the rest of the pump or should i just use a gasket sealer to make a nice safe seal? if you can help out i would appreciate it alot. thank you guys, (the pump is for a b16a)

from what i remember honda only uses sealer on the oil pump
when i assembled my motor i only used sealer doesnt leak a drop of oil

ok cool. what about the orange sealent? the orange is the kind i bought at autozone earlier for the water pump and for the oil pan gasket.
