Event Details



Where: Buttonwillow Raceway in Buttonwillow, CA

When: May 7th and 8th (Saturday/Sunday).
Who: Driving and Non Driving activities open to Everyone.

Costs:
Drivers - $340 for Track Event and Banquet (will be capped at 25 per group for now)

Important Note: We must have a minimum of 60 drivers by a soon to be announced deadline.
If that is not achieved, the event will be rescheduled for a different time and location.

NON-Drivers/Guests - $40 for Banquet
Instructors - $40 for Banquet - All instructors are required to pay for the banquet and will be in Pending or Paid status until they have both
1. Paid, and
2. Are approved to be instructors by the Expo 11 committee.
‘Confirmed’ status indicates that you have been approved to be an instructor. We would like to get at least 25 instructors.
Note, just because an individual signs up to be an instructor does NOT indicate that they will have ‘Confirmed’ instructor status.

I've already emailed Wes about this, pending confirmation as an instructor, only catch now is that this same weekend is MOTHERS DAY!!!

Tough call to make to get the time away from wives/mom's to go play, but this may very well be a once in a lifetime event on the west coast. If we don't get enough people signed up and PAID, then it won't happen.

That's what Phil told me last weekend.

I would be all over this if we didn't have a conflicting points event with our local club. Buttonwillow is an awesome track for Hondas. Imagine FIR west on steriods.

If this happens, you guys will have a great time. I thought Sean had a good suggestion on nwp to post this all over the S2000 message boards. Those guys have more dough than your average EG/EK/DC2/DC5 owner and are pretty active with tracking their cars. That might be enought to hit the minimum number needed to secure a WC date.

LOL Gabe!! It's not looking good for Expo 11 this year but, if it does happen, I'll go to Buttonwillow as an instructor... Either way, INDE or Buttonwillow is a win win!!
