who knows inside motors? i need help finding out what i need

i was told theres a piece missing inside the motor that goes above the oil pan, its goes that piece then the oil pan. i couldnt find anything on what that piece name is...any help would be goodd

Mostly likely the girdle. It bolts onto the bottom block right under the crank.

Okay there is a cover tht allows u to be able to attach the oil dang I forgot what's it called and then the oil pan but since ur at tht point I would replace ur main and rear main seals

to my knowledge, only a gsr/itr use a girdle. B16/LS/B20 do not. Also some f and h series do, but that's off topic

i googled b20z2 and the first thing that came up was a dude that talked about a 98 b20z2 crv block he got for under 200
i googled hondapartsunlimited and put in the info
98 crv honda, ka5speed tranny ex model
then i went to the cylinder block - oil pan section and pow!! all the parts your block has and or need

A baffle and a girdle are not even close to the same thing. He needs the proper oil suction bell for his oil pan, windage tray, and then the basic block goods

theres no oil pick up tube and windage tray, then pan
you might as well just rebuild the hole rotating assembly since you have it all apart. but make sure you pay someone to do it!
alot of reputable shops on here :drive:
