Need help on swaps! im a newbee!

I have a 97 del sol with the stock d16y7 engine.. i heard that you can swap heads on it an make it a, from what i have hear it called, a "Mini-Me"..but thats as much as i know...i dont know where to begin...also is it possible to swap my engine to like a b16 and keep the same motor mounts??im new to all this and just seeking some help..any would be appreciated..thanks

a mini me is if you swap out the y7 head with one from a y8 and you get vtec from whati hear its a easy swap, just need everything from the y8 heads intake manifold etc. and then wiring for vtec

and i belive you need b series motor mounts for a b series swap

you just need a complete y8 head to give you more power, plus new gaskets and what not

you would need new mounts for it.

you could but it would be pointless

you need a wire for vtec and the vtec soleonid wire
