so i found a brand new oem 2002 civic coupe front bumper for 27 dollars

but on another site it was like 127 dollars. even though theres a considerable price difference do you guys think id have a problem going with the one that is 27 dollars?

aftermarket parts can be up to 10% off of oem specs so with that much difference you don't quite know how it will fit. I've witnessed 1st hand when buying a driverside fender from cyc parts a few years ago. I couldn't get it to fit right along the hood and where the fender meets behind the bumper. It was a bitch to work with and i swore oem for life! Its best imo to buy your part from another honda owner or the junk yard and just be safe all the way around. But you're right this is a legit post I just lol'd when I saw another 'azht help' thread. :)

I had mine suspended for 3 months and I drove on it and once it wasn't suspended I got pulled over and they didn't say anything. And atm I didn't know you had to reinstate them.

i'd never buy an oem honda bumper cover for a civic. Certifit parts fit just as good as oem. No problems and they last just as long. Hell nobody could ever tell that my civic tails were actually certifits

this is exactly my meaning. Certifit bumpers fit fine. for 38 bucks it's way better than spending 150 bucks for an oem one from honda, and nobody can tell the difference other than possibly your body guy as long as you get someone to do a good paint job on it.

well when i get it im going to take it to g-styles or however you spell it here in yuma because they origninally painted my car the color it is and no one else knows how to mak the paint because it was something they made that they have never done before from what ive heard. they clear cloating seemed not so great though. they didnt clear coat like the "vents" in the body kit when the previous owner had it and certain parts on the back bumper seemed pretty rough but i mean for all i know that could be froom the old owner since she didnt want the car what so ever. but i also heard g styles is good.

idk like i really want to get out of the rice look. but im probably just going to just fix the front bumper for now and then other things because the back bumper isnt realy that important. i need to fix some simple stuff that id rather fix than the back bumper. and eventually get a carbon fiber trunk. or just put silicone in those holes in my trunk where the spoiler went.

That would be your best bet to get away from the rice look. Especially with the em2s. There just to long of a body to make them ricey. And get oem looking bumpers and slap a lip on it. What do you need to fix besides the rear bumper? And man do I want a carbon fiber trunk. I got the hood, but don't wanna pay the money for the trunk.

well because of the shitty lambo door hinges my doors dont close all the way which mean si cant really take it to acar wash lol. i usually just plug the gaps with towels and hand wash it myself. my door panels are falling apart, turns out my alarm is a piece of crap and it doesnt work, the wiring to my rear 6x9 on the passenger side is messed up. the speaker instantly blows when i put it in. wheneve ri listen to music all i hear is farting hahah. my hood doesnt close all the way because the previous owner hit something on the bottom and it hit the ac cooler which caused like the support bar that attaches from the bottom of the ac cooler ( i think that is what its coalled) to shift up and hit the hood lock causing the hood to not close all the way. i have a pair of hoodpins to fix that though. and other little things. :] ill get around to it though.

That blows about the lambo doors. I hope you didn't put those on. Some times there not bad as long as there done correctly and not half assed. And my door panels suck ass too! And with my carbon hood my hood had a little jiggle so I put hood pins in and it works all better now!
